Our first hour covers technician travel time, preperation of the appointment, the time it takes our technicians to go to a hardware store or any of our shops, and 1 hour of focused work on your property.

Nope! Our pricing is flat and transparent. The first hour is $200 and includes travel and prep. If the job takes longer, it’s $125 for the second hour and any additional hours needed.

Yes! We bring all our tools and can pick up common materials from hardware stores to try and be prepared for the appointment as best as possible.

Handy Dandy’s Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Handy Dandy’s! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and any interactions with our business. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Handy Dandy’s offers a range of handyman services, including but not limited to:
Plumbing repairs and installations
Electrical work
Carpentry and woodworking
Drywall patching
Furniture Assembly
General home maintenance and repairs
Custom projects and renovations
Any plumbing alterations, may be performed through a licensed 3rd party plumber, any electrical work may be performed through a licensed 3rd party electrician.
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe working conditions or projects outside our scope of 2 hour maximum job time.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes: We do not provide offcial quotes for our work. Our pricing is straightforward and listed on our website. Any questions about pricing please call us as soon as possible.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept Cash, Card and we occasionally service invoicing.
Cancelation fee: Appoinments can be rescheduled or canceled up until 24 hours before the appointment. If the appointment is canceled within the 24 hour window of the appointment, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file.
Additional Costs: Any additional work or materials needed for the job or requested by the customer will incur extra charges.
4. Scheduling and Cancellations
Appointments: Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will confirm your appointment upon booking.
Cancellations: Appoinments can be rescheduled or canceled up until 24 hours before the appointment. If the appointment is canceled within the 24 hour window of the appointment, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file.
No-Shows: If we arrive at the scheduled time and are unable to perform the work due to your unavailability, a no-show fee may apply.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of completion. If any issues arise due to our work, we will repair them at no additional cost.
Limitations: This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party repairs. Manufacturer warranties apply to any materials or products used.
6. Liability and Insurance
Liability: Handy Dandy’s is fully insured for general liability. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or issues unrelated to our work.
Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for securing valuables, pets, and ensuring a safe working environment. We are not liable for damage to items not disclosed or moved prior to work.
7. Dispute Resolution
Communication: If you have any concerns about our services, please contact us immediately. We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly.
Mediation/Arbitration: Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be handled through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon.
8. Website Terms (if applicable)
Use of Website: By using our website, you agree not to misuse any content or features. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
Privacy Policy: Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Termination of Services
By Us: We reserve the right to terminate services if the customer breaches these Terms, fails to pay, or creates unsafe working conditions.
By You: You may cancel services at any time, but cancellation fees may apply if work has already begun.
Refunds: Refunds are issued at our discretion and may be subject to deductions for work already completed or materials purchased.
10. Force Majeure
Handy Dandy’s is not liable for delays or failures to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Handy Dandy’s. Any prior agreements, understandings, or representations are superseded by these Terms.
